Need help

ok, so, checking out my new PC, noticed that in system properties it's telling my my CPU is unknown. Downloaded Nova Bench to see what it says. it's telling me that I may need to update my BIOS. This is where I need help.

I have no idea how to update my Bios????

The easiest way would be to use the MSI Live Update feature. You should find the program on the cd that came with your motherboard.

The safest way would require you to download the bios file, copy it to a usb flash drive and update the bios using the M-Flash Utility. Look in your motherboard manual for instructions on using the M-Flash Utility.

I seem to have gotten it all sorted out. thanks
now I have to go back into the BIOS and set everything up and again.

I don't think I trust this benchmark. My Drive Write Speed is double yours but I'm scoring 20 points less.

Passmark Performance Test 7.0 is a good system benchmark

what vid card are you running????

I'm going to try the passmark. I'm not entirely sure if my bios flash totally proper. doesn't seem like it. might try again at a later date. I was having a couple issues.
