Hey all

I'm currently building a system which should be adequate for gaming. i have never used overclocking features before and just wish to find out what i should be looking at when overclocking. voltages? temperatures? etc.

the system consists of:

ASUS P7P55D-E PRO
INTEL I7 870
2X4Gb 1333MHz RAM
GTX460 DDR5 1G GPU (SINGLE)

If anyone could help me with safe perameters and what to be careful of setting the O.C that would be greatly appreciated.

Brad

Haven't tried on mine, last few weeks have been busy. Hopefully I'll do it on the first weekend of next year :)

thanks for that...plenty of info there...one more question. i have a corsair 850W pro PSU...will this handle minor OC'ing?

definitely. It will handle any oc'ing you can throw at it. You've got enough overhead that the voltage intake of OC'ing won't stress the PSU.
