Both of those motherboards will have way better stability than ASUS....ASUS has gone hill and isn't very reliable anymore and anyone will tell you their tech support sucks...plus the RAM I linked you to should be just a tiny bit more expensive than the RAM you had planned, but will perform much faster and if you're running and AMD64 no way should you be running PC2700 RAM. Also personally I think Western Digital is a better HD company but that's just personal pref I suppose.
 
Ya, definately dont buy that DDR333 ram. You are cheating your system. You need DDR400 (PC3200). And also, the seagate hard drives looks fine. I have a seagate. I have worked with every brand and I prefer them. Western Digital is good as well. The only brand I here bad things about is Maxtor. Their old HDs were fine, but the new ones do have a good record for stability. And also, seagate was the first company to do SATA, and they have done it best. That is my two cents.
