Guys Please help me

ok guys well my problem is that i have 3gb of ddr3 ram installed in my pc, but Windows says, 2gb usable?! I have windows 7 starter 32 bit and i know that 32-bit can detect up to 3.5gb of ram so what is the problem??? and also i checked the Resource manager and i saw that 1024mb of ram was being reserved for hardware??? but i dont see why since i have a decent Graphics card...( ATI RADEON HD 5750 1GB GDDR5) so PLEASE GUYS help me because i want to get out as much juice as i can from this computer.

Your 3.5GB limit is RAM plus GFX Memory.

3GB RAM + 1GB GFX = 4GB *3.5GB limit*
3GB RAM - 1GB GFX = 2GB RAM

oh OK well thank you for answer, but i always thought that if the gfx had 1gb of ram it was its own?? not to take away from the actual system its self, but anyways than you for your answer.

Your GFX RAm goes into account of the 3.5GB.
