lan parties

i was asked to go to a lan party last week but i hate moving my computer, specially to other peoples place, with all the knockes and bumps associated with traveling. Does anyone know of a specially designed case for lan parties, like extra hard disk protection, scratch proof paint/metal, thick materials,.
i could always mount a computer in a milk crate, i saw that somewhere on the net

and not a bad price either. Carries mouse and keyboard...if I had friends who weren't bums and had nice computers I'd get it
