Sli question

I currently have a pny GeForce gts 250. If i buy a new GeForce gtx 470 can i run them in sli together?

No, they have to be the same gpu though they don't have to be from the same manufacturer.

Well can i run them together without sli but both at the same time ?

Yes, you can use one for the main video and the other as a PhysX card or you can use them both for Folding@Home.
