First time Computer build

Here is what I have so far. I have $800 dollars to spend and will probably run *nix so no need to pay for OS. Also, it will primarily be used for learning programming maybe some electrical engineering applications. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, these parts are not set in stone so if you think of a better one in the same price range let me know. Also, is there anything else I need? I am a noob so all help appreciated.
