cd drive

i just bought a labtop and the cd drive stoped working right after a day it acts like its raeding discs but nothing shows up. in my computer theres no spot for it. my computer says that its corrupted. i took in to where i bought it and they reformated wich seemed to work for like a day

what should i do

Could be several things. The cd in your "CD-ROM" im assuming thats what it is may be a cd-rw or a cd-r that hasn't had its session closed. Put a normal music CD, that means non-illegal, in your drive and try playing that. Same goes for a game CD. If that doesnt work your drive is screwed up. Call the manufaturer and have them fix it, hopefully you have a warranty.
