SAMSUNG 1 T HD AND EZ-DOCKING STATION

Does anyone know why I'm having such a problem making my computer recognize the hard drive? The safely remove hardware recognizes it but not in my computer.
Does anyone have any ideas?

What are the system specs you are connecting it to?

You might have to initialize the HDD. In Computer Management, Disk Management.

 

[Nitestick]

You probably either have to assign a drive letter or format it if it is a brand new drive.
