My problem is no sound.
In bottom right of windows 7-Upon hovering over the speaker with an X through it, it says No speakers or headphones are plugged in.
I click it, and troubleshoot Speakers - HTO CLARO (no jack information avaliable)
It says: the audio device is disabled Not fixed (red X)
STORY AND SPECS
I got windows 7 32 bit, and then my creative sound card apparently did not have a driver for it. So i went and bought an HTI Claro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ega-_-29271003
This came with a driver, which I installed.
Windows 7- 32 bit
Z5500 5.1 Surround
Ud3r motherboard
HTI Claro which I put in a PCI 1 slot..
Standard driver from CD (tried to update through device manager it says its up to date)
The z5500 has 3 cords, Front (green) rear(black) center/sub(orange)
I put these cords directly into the Claro via the front, side surround, and center/s.woofer spots respectively. Which is slots 3,4,5 according to the manual.
Under device manager.. I have
>High Definition Audtio Device
>HTO CLARO
They both say they are working properly ...
...
Dunno what else to tell you guys, thanks for helping
