How fast is pcix?

right now, no faster than AGP 8X.
Technically, it's PCIX 16X, but there is no card that can use all that extra bandwidth.

because it can fit in a pcx slot. They where designed for pcx also so where the FX5750's.

heh, just because they fit in the slot and they work with PCI-X doesn't mean that all the bandwidth is used. The 6800 that is for PCI-X, runs head to head with AGP8X 6800's. In theory, the PCI-X cards should run twice as fast, but they don't.

Well, of course in the future there will be cards that will take advantage of the PCI-X slot's uber bandwidth, but just not right now. Maybe I didn't state that right earlier. Sorry for the confusion Nvidia fan boy.
