Problem with folders...

OK. So I was messing around with the File Types under Folder Options. I tried to change the icon, and then I couldn't open the folders. So I tried changing the icons back the the defaults and that wouldn't work either. So now if I want to get into my stuff, I have to right-click on the folder and hit open...double clicking doesn't work. Quite frankly, opening these folders the long way is starting to get to me, and if anyone knows how to fix this, I would appreciate their help.

Do you get an error?
Delete the .ini file in the folder...maybe it helps.
Check your registry with a registry fixer (Fix-It Utilities)
Do a google.

Nope. No error. I was getting a new window with Search Results when I double-clicked, but then I rebooted and now when I double-click, nothing happens--nothing opens, no error, nothing.

Click on Tools>Folder Options ..Select the File Types Tab ... Scroll on the list n' select File Folder Click on Advanced ..Select the action u want (explore or Open) Clcik on Set as default.

U can repeat the same for the Folder too (u'll find it right before the File Folder opton)

That's part of the problem...Open and Explore are not in that list of possible actions. That's really where I am stuck...not sure what to do from there.

Now rename the file from .txt to .reg
Double Click on the file n' click on yes .. everything should be fine now
