Hello Guys,

Not sure if i have posted this in the correct place, i apologize if i haven't!

Basically I'm after a new laptop, I have around 400-500 pounds to spend (not much i know). I will use the laptop for movies, work, music and some light gaming (world of warcraft). I will want to plug my samsung monitor into it when at home.

I have been looking at samsung laptops and really like them, have been recomended the Samsung R530?

I guess because I will only be doing light gaming onboard Intel graphics will be sufficient? I feel a 200gb hard drive is plenty, I'm only really stuck on how much RAM i need and mainly which processor to select and which manufacturer to select, I've been told to stay away from acer and dell??

I'd appreciate any comments/help

Thankyou

You got it right, man. Everything Laptops ;)

I take it thats GBP, right?

Cutting it short, but look at this one. Acer Aspire 5742 Laptop - Laptops | Ebuyer.com ;)

I never knew much about Samsungs, but Acers are quite acceptable.
You would want at least an i3 to be current with everything.
You don't need a dedicated card.
4GB of RAM is the standard these days.
HDD space is normally 250GB and up.
