For CPU cooler, if you're going to overclock, you want this:

I agree with the HAF 932. Great case, or so I have heard.
Definitely HD 6870. Performance : price can't be beat.
Of course, you could go with a HAF for $160, a HD 6870 for $250, and an external HDD for $100 tops, and that should put you at only $510. There's enough extra in your budget to throw in a water cooling system for $290.

For somebody who doesnt wanna go above 3.5 89 bucks for a mammoth of a CPU cooler is excessive. Thats why i offered things that are older and cheaper but still deliver within 3c performance of such coolers.

GTX 470 or HD 6870? They seem really close in benchmarks. Would it be better to go with Nvidia because i currently have Intel?

Also that heatsink is a little more than i need. Its not i don't understand how to "properly overclock" its just not something i build for.

Personally never heard of it before (heatsink). Id stick with the 6870 simply because in alot of tests it benches higher than the 470 and overclocked will tip 480 speeds if not faster. That is of course if you decide to overclock that at all either lol. If your willing to push the cash for a 470 then either way, up to your preferences i suppose.

I think there about the same price. Would anyone know with the rumers about the GTX 570, a ball park release date? Would I be better waiting a month or two for something new? 69xx also?
