Hey I know this isn't posted in the right place, tried to post it in the offtopic forums told me I didn't have access.

So basically the T-F layout is white, which is killing me I have looked over the settings and can't find how to turn it back to blue/black like it was a couple of months ago. Any help would be useful.

A new skin is currently being developed and should see the light of day soon. The old skins were for vB3 and are not compatible with vB4.

Hang in there and everything will be OK shortly. ;)

|i hope it fixes the spacing...... I can't use the site on my treo 750. with i.e,.. It doesn't take my pass/user and theres huge spaces between forums... i mean huge.

But i like the white.

Well sadly the site still isnt going to be mobile device friendly. I am still bugging about that cause that bothers me as well.

The old layout worked on my phone.. i get 6Gigs amonth download so d/l a non mobile sites fine.... but theres huge amounts of space between the forums that i can't find the forums easy..

Its quite odd, but, fortunately i don't use my phone much.

Yeah the descriptions are what kills it. I know i have brought it up before. I will make sure to bring it up again.

That's purely vBulletin's fault. vB4 ruined mobility and what little editable code vB3 had left. I'd have to rewrite the whole site to make a mobile skin.

I want the old skin back :p

Narrow skins make forums more easy to read.

And something else:
I mentioned this before many times, but the paths to the forum and other content are illogical (and have been like this for years).

index:
Code:
http://www.techist.com
(the ads don't really fit the layout; the design could be improved so they don't look out of place)

'/home':
Code:
http://www.techist.com/forums/content/
(huh?)

forum:
Code:
http://www.techist.com/forums/
(huh?)

None of the titles (<title>) of these pages include the name Tech-Forums. I know the name Computer Forums is necessary for google, but I don't think it would do much harm to add 'Tech-Forums' to the title.

And I would improve the contrast of these icons :
