Hey Trotter.. whats a unmocker? It doesn't make fun of the other parts??

Your power supply scares me though.. Good size, just bad maker.

Try this: Newegg.com - SILVERSTONE ST40F-ES 400W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

alright ill look into that....

do you guys think a solid state drive would be necessary for this? someone reccomended it to me in another forum, but then someone else said that it would be necessary. This computer will not be for gaming as i said, so would i really need an SSD?

I still have 2 in use at my office that have worked for at least 3 years but probably closer to 5 years. These are just basic workstation computers with nothing fancy. I've also used quite a few FSP power supplies in economy PC's I've built for other people and I've never had one of them come back. To be perfectly honest FSP is probably my favorite discount power supply maker, I wouldn't use one in my high-end PC but that's a completely different beast.

I gotta second Slay's comments. FSP is not well known anymore, but they are solid. They were better known around here when Antec was the local darling instead of Corsair (which only made RAM back then).

Do not start multiple threads on this. Update this one. I have deleted the others.
