HDMI out to VGA

Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite E-105 laptop, and I would like to be able to hook it up to a monitor that only has a VGA port on it. Will this cable allow me to connect my laptop to my monitor so I can use two monitors?:

I suspect you have a HDMI port?

That should work. BTW, what is your exact model? Satellite E105-xxxx

I have a E-105 S1402

And I have a HDMI out that I have used to connect to my TV before.
