Advice for civvy street

Dear reader,

I am currently in the armed forces, I have been interested in IT for years I have the following certifications: Comptia A+ (2009)
MCDST
I am also experienced in small networks, active directory and user profile problems etc. I hold the responsibilities of an administrator in my current job.
I am very interested in progressing in IT when I leave my current job. Where would be the best place to start? In your eyes would I be employable?

Companies are investing the majority of their funds into communications currently. Web development and networking are excellent skills to have now. I would suggest starting there. Network+ and Cisco training courses can get you started.
