the original mobo was offered by another friend who knows a little bit more about computers than me. he told me it didn't have any onboard sound and that i needed to get a card for it. haven't a clue as to exactly what type or brand the mobo was but i decided against it. as for OCing, i would love to do stuff like that, i would just need need to find a guide or something to help get me started

Theres tons of how to's on here and the net in general.

To get a decent overclock is quite easy now, with very minimal effort or techincal no how.

Its almost criminal to not oc!

No one read the first 2 suggestions. It was suggested already that he doesnt get the the 960 he gets the 930 and also even if he didnt get the sound card the onboard on the mother board picked earlier is the same exact tech thus justifying the price.
