I know I know I know...Emachines suck. Or at least that's what I've gathered from around the net. But it's the only desktop option I have right now so help would be much appreciated. :D

I was reinstalling Windows on my machine and the first thing I did was open it up and reset the CMOS using jumpers. Well, I pulled the wrong one, but I put it back and cleared it with the right one. So I pulled the two jumpers off and put them back on.

I try booting. I plug it in, turn on the power supply, hit the button, and the fans spin up...But nothing shows on the monitor. So this had to have been something I did wrong or simply didn't do at all, right?

I've tried everything. I unplugged everything and put it back together, held the power button for 30 seconds, etc... Nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

You afford what you can afford, nothing more.

What model do you have? That might give us more pieces to the puzzle.
