I finally want to build myself a solid enough gaming pc again, also my gf is gonna use it for her adobe photoshop sessions and such. Just looking for advice as I have no idea whats happening out there anymore. Last time I upgraded was to play elder scrolls oblivion so its been a while. Im gonna be playing alot of games for windows live games since im addicted to my gamerscoooore if that helps you gauge my necessary power

In between 800-1000 dollars would be great if possible, I would most likely want to hook it up to my panasonic viera too (which sadly doesn't have a vga input) Anything you guys could throw at me in terms of getting my feet again or helping would be awesomely appreciated, thx dudes

This is my gaming rig specs and has worked out quite well:
Motherboard- ASUS P5Q-Pro
RAM- 4-6GBs OCZ 1066
Video Card- Nvidia GeForce 470 GTX
HDDs- 2 500 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM
PSU- OCZ 700W
CPU- Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz E8400 (although Quad Core is where it's at now)

Hope that gives you some idea at least.
