tried all that, nope it didnt boot passed 3.8. it actually made it to where i had to run start up repair to get it to boot...

You should probably try a video conference with Apok (e.g. skype or sumthin), he could probably walk you through it. Couldn't hurt to ask him he's managed getting his PII X4 965 to 4.431GHz

I've bumped mine to 4.0GHz, but only to see if I could. It handled it OK, but I didn't bump the voltages so it was not stable.
