Those G.Skill are 2T as opposed to the Dominators prolly being 1T and can prolly do the same timings whilst overclocked.

Im with Sean on the motherboard. If your not an overclocking enthusiast i wouldnt suggest a top end board like the Rampage. A cheaper Asus or eVGA would suffice for less. While were in that area a 950 probably isnt to wise on the performance per dollar ratio either. Id suggest a 930 instead and read up on a few guides floating around and OC it a tad.

As was said, the V8 isnt very good and i wouldnt recommend putting it on an i7. I have it on a 940BE @ 3.6ghz and it tops out around 65c while folding. I wouldnt trust to put it on my i5 at all.
A better option would be something he put up there ^ or a Meglahems or TRUE120. Or possibly the Corsair H70.

To finish off, Black Ops would probably run on a medicore dual core system with a decent GPU. They have rehashed the same engine on each CoD for a LONG time now. My laptop plays MW2 maxed easily.

i would stick with the HAF 932, its an awesome case with great features, dont skimp on a case, if you get one you love you wont have to buy a new case for a LONG time.

also, you have a 5870 linked as your motherboard?

I just bought a coolermaster V8 cpu cooler, as i read good things about it....we shall see, I guess.

I bought it for an i5 750,

This is gonna be a nice build.....I hope you enjoy it, as I am sure you will.

I seriously would not get the Mirror Edition (Lycosa) unless you wanna clean up smudge marks constantly. I just cleaned mine and it took about 30 minutes just to get gunk off and i wash my hands regularly before i get on my pc. Its a good keyboard, but i would get the regular Lycosa. Same thing, rubberized keys.

I'll second that motion, I passed on the mirror one for that same reason, I love the rubber keys. Don't regret going with this one for a second.
