I have an OLD laptop. Had to be made around 98-2000
It's a Gateway Solo 2300 Gateway Support - 3500412*Solo 2300 w/13.3" LCD (Revision Code D4.0)
Pentium 133Mhz
80MB SODIMM SDRAM PC100
Hitachi 2GB HDD (FAT32)
CD-Rom
Windows XP Professional (think it had Win98 or 2000 on it prior)
I don't expect much out of it, as it is klinky. The only thing I was looking at is updating the RAM then put Win2000 on it. Yes, I still have the CDs.
XP is just to much for it. The little CPU could. "I think I can, I think I can" 
Anyhow, I found some on ebay for ~$5 a pop. I would like to get 3 of them, to max out the alloted amount of 384MB. Will this really bump up the performance? As low as the CPU is.
