Crossfire 5770 cards ??

HI - purchased a new Sapphire ( Juniper) 5770 on a special from Newegg as I was thinking about doing a crossfire with my original XFX (Juniper) 5770. But, after reading more about doing this I keep seeing that the cards must be EXACTLY the same cards. Both cards are Juniper 5770's , but from different manufacturers- can I crossfire them? Thanks....

no they don't need to be from the same vendor, yes you can xfire them.
