you can't have an sli setup on a board with an amd chipset, and you can't use ddr3 on an am2+/am3 board, it has to be am3 only.
As far as I'm aware You can have a SLI setup with an AM3 CPU, Just not the chipset. Just, there aern't many boards.
I know you wasn't saying you couldn't do that btw ^ I was just adding my ten cents, to give the OP more of a choice
