I've been into computers for probably around 6 or so years (since I'm only 16 I think it's a decent amount of time
). I've mostly been into the software of computers though, I've never really touched hardware before... But I'm on a mission to build my first desktop! I had a HP laptop for about 3 years, but the motherboard kept going out on it (issue with the model), luckily I had a warranty and recently the motherboard was replaced for the fourth time. So this time they instead, sent me a check for my computer.
So I've got a budget of around $600-700 and I've been starting to look at building a desktop, rather then just buying a pre-configured one from somewhere. I found this site and am hoping to learn a lot about building, and the parts I should get for my needs. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Looks like a great board to be a part of!
