Hey i am the software geek. Hardware is still something i havent mastered just yet. Thankfully i do know enough to not give up after the first failure. Cause it does pay off to keep trying. Got the stuff i need for the BIOS update and time to see if all my work has paid off.

Mak, do you have a pci video card you could try just briefly ? I am sure you might have a old ati 9800 laying around that can be used...
