Client dropped his machine off and he want to update the CPU.
The MoBo that is currently kicking is a A-BIT BD7 .

WHat is the biggest CPU that I can put on this puppy?

Socket 478 Pentium Processor. But there are multiple BD7 boards. Which is it?

BD7-E
BD7II
BD7II-RAID
BD7III
BD7m

Yeah that's the specs for BD7-RAID but what about all the other ones in the same BD7 series? Why are you assuming it's that particular one?

BD7-E
BD7II
BD7II-RAID
BD7III
BD7m

although it looks like those ones that I listed above are a lot newer being that you listed for BD7-RAID and this one shows BD7II-RAID so I guess they've removed straight BD7 info from ABit site

Not to worry. I'm going to be installing a Celeron 2.6Ghz @ 400 FSB into the motherboard.

Once again, TF helped me out on this. Which is more that what I can say for A-bit ; which was the following reply i got from them 30 seconds ago :-

I know what the problem is. Their website does not have a CPU compability list (which is really odd for a MoBo manufacturer)
