Need Advice On Ram upgrading

Hey Everyone,

I figure I needed to upgrade my Ram.

I'm running on a HP Pavilion: m8000n

using M2N68-LA motherboard

Motherboard Specifications, M2N68-LA (Narra) HP Pavilion Media Center TV m8000n Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (Canada - English)

At the moment I'm running 2gb ram, 1gb ram on both slots. (On blue side) they are also the stock ram that they came with when I bought the computer.

Any advice as what I need to do? And any chance say I just wanted to add one more 1gb ram on it will it work that way or do I have to fill in all 4 slots? (blue and black)

Why do you figure you need to upgrade your Ram?

I wanted to Max out the Ram need for a 32 bit Windows 7, but I'm doing it little by Little as time passes by. Until I'm finish getting through to joining the Navy. I wanna learn something before sending me off to Boot Camp. When I come back I'll have little more idea what needs to be done when I build my next computer, and can hand this computer out to my parents.
