oh yea, that ram will do just fine, like i said, if you are getting a good price on it from your buddy, then for sure go with that ram, other wise get some better ram off the internet.

Hi there Sean. I'm finally ordering everything tomorrow so wondering if you could make sure everything is good. Few things have changed since before, so..

Money is a bit tight at the moment but since my uni requires a good pc I have to get it done now.

Is 600W sufficient for my i7 rig? Looking to overclock a bit.

Think this is an awesome price. Thumbs up?

Now onto overclocking. Needing a bit more help with coolers. Since i'm trying to save as much money as possible, would there be much difference between the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=20729) or the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=39577) compared to this (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=37649) or the Titan Evo cooler? If I can get away with paying £20 instead of 30/35 while still keeping good temperatures, then that's good enough for me.

You recommended the Hyper 212 Plus. Good experience?

I'm still not 100% sure what case to go for, although I think you have probably swayed it for me with your recommendation of the Gamma case. However, is it worth (or needed) purchusing a few fans with it like this? (https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=40457). If it's not needed, then I would rather keep £10. I'm living in Scotland so it's generally pretty cool here always.

Thanks bro

i would go with atleast 750 watts...
that ram really good

go with the CM Hyper 212+ thats an awesome bang for your buck cooler and will offer lots of head room for overclocking which is worth paying a little bit more for a better cooler because you will be able to push your hardware harder and get more for your money.

the stock cooling on the NZXT gamma is pretty good, but with extra fans is superb... just depends on what you are willing to spend.

good luck mate ;)

Hey again,

Finished building it last night. That Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus was a nightmare getting on. Only have the single fan on the cooler - didn't get a 2nd fan to attach onto it. Would a 2nd make much difference?

My i7 930 is hovering around 38 degrees (37-39) typing this using Asus Probe II. Are there any programs I should run to see how it performs under load?

thanks for your help !

edit: Just checked the cooler master reviews online here (http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...ster-hyper-212-plus-cpu-cooler-review-10.html)

Idle temps for their 920 @ stock is showing 26. I'm at 38 running only quite a few internet pages and MSN.

Is this normal? :(
