This is a common issue with SC2, check the forums, there are a lot of people that have lag at the game start, or crash at the start of games with no real reasons.
Not sure what's causing it, and Blizzard hasn't released any patches that address it, they keep playing the, it's your computer overheating/drivers card, which sadly, a lot of people are being affected by strange unknown reasons for this type of lag, it would seem to be on the computer end, but, I have a feeling the game isn't really "optimized" yet, hopefully they will have a patch that addresses this issue soon.
