Heard anything of the new ATI HD6xxx series?

(CrunchGear) » TechNews.AM , which links back to this : Radeon HD 6870 Performance Numbers Leak , The HD6870 scored twice as much as the GTX 480 in 3D Mark Vantage. Thats a decent increase if you ask me. this info may not be true but its all we've got so far. Cant w8 till its released ^.^

im not impressed... as this is a new series of cards i wont be impressed unless the lowest of the 6xxx series cards beats the highest end of the 5xxx series cards... so for example the 6770 needs to beat the 5970... and cost 1/4... unless that happens i will be sticking with my 5870 for the foreseeable future

Dont you think thats alot to expect form a new series of cards? i dont see the HD5770 beating the HD4970 o.0 or even the 4870 for that fact. if u already have a HD5870 then of course you would stick with it. its a great card. just that, as i stated previously in this thread, my HD5770 aint going to cut it for the future of gaming, ile throw it in my LAN pc when i get a HD6870.

I'm pretty sure this is SI (the stopgap 40nm GPU)
NI is going to be the 28nm series chips.

I was actually expecting SI to perform lower than what's showing here.
