Monitor only works in safe mode

Hey, I hooked up my computer to my TV last nite, so I cud watch a movie with some friends using an S-Video cable. However, this morning when I reconnected it to my monitor, I found out that it does not work in regular mode. It goes through the XP loading page, but then the monitor shuts off while the computer is still working. I turned it off and went into safe mode, and that works. I didn't change any display properties when I was using the S-Video cable. Do you guys know what I can do to fix this? You think a system restore will work? Any help would be great. Thanx.

yeah... you can delete this thread if u want... i feel stoopid. I guess i shuda tried system restore b4 i posted here. it works now
