1. Don't overclock in the OS, do it from the BIOS.
2. The 'Run as Administrator' option will appear if you right click on the actual .exe (not the shortcut). Should work either way I think though (memory's failing :p on a mac atm)
3. Apart from LinX which you already have, you'll need a GPU stress tester as well like FurMark.

to get into the bios, start your computer and when you see the Mother board screen pop up ( like 8 seconds after you start your computer ) push the " Delete " key ( not to be confused with the backspace )... then follow that video on over clocking the processor. impretty confidant the 1090T will make it to 4ghz so start there ( just follow exactly what the video does ) and we will go from there

To overclock the GPU you use the ATi Overdrive application built into the ATi Catalyst software. Just pull up the Catalyst control panel, select the Overdrive tab, unlock it if it's locked, and start turning up the core and memory settings. I would say bump it up by 5-10MHz then apply (turn up the fan speeds to make sure your temps are safe too, set it around 50%) then run a 3D benchmark like 3DMark Vantage and make sure you don't have any corruption or artifacts. If it is successful, bump up 5-10MHz more and repeat until you've maxed out the card. Most cards should be able to max out the settings in Overdrive pretty easily. If you get that far and want to push it even harder you can use other tools such as MSI Afterburner to push the card even higher than the Overdrive software allows but Afterburner has voltage control and you can damage your card if you set voltage too high.
