laptop problem

ok so from what info you guys have given me i looked for how to reset the bios, and since i can't going to the bios and do a reset that way a lot of the guides said to disconnect the cmos battery for a little while, so i did and nothings changed....i have no idea what to do now, is the laptop pretty much dead?

Is it under warranty? I'd send it in for a RMA. I think your motherboard has seen the last of its days.

it's about 2 years old so it's not under warranty, and whats an RMA?(if it's something that i should look into how much you guess it would be?)

Guess you cannot RMA the laptop then .

I would think so, Jo. The best you could do is take it to your local PC shop. Not Best Buy, a small business. As we can't see the laptop, we can not say exactly what is wrong. The tech should be able to tell you for a small price.
