Hello all, I have been a reader of this technology forum for quite some time, but I have just recently registered. I have a question pertaining to a boot problem I've been having. Oftentimes when I have to restart, the pc will just freeze at my soyo motherboard screen. When this happened, I usually have to reset my cmos when this happens, and sometimes unplug my floppy drive, and my cd drive. I currently am only running with my HD plugged in to my MoBo. I think it is a problem with my bootup priorities, or maybe a setting in advanced settings in the bios that is causing me problems. Anyways, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Nope, it literally stops at the Soyo Dragon kt600 v 2.0 screen. that's it, just the mobo company emblem.

try running memtest86+ I just posted about how I thought my RAM was fried and when I was getting those thousands of errors it would stick at various POST screens and such.
