Really? Darn. I was looking for an excuse to get a more elegant heatsink. I guess it is better than my friend's 89 degrees...
edit: So what do you think a safe max temp is at idle?

40-45C is a safe idle temp at stock speeds. If your running hotter than that your going to start experiencing problems, glitches the occasional hang. At 89C things will start dieing fast.

Got it. Thanks. Yeah, as soon as I pointed that out to him he shut it off and bought a new cooler, now he's running at under 30 celcius.

The moment of truth: installing windows! HDD and ODD just arrived, already have them installed and am nervously watching windows install itself. I hope this goes alright!
