Helloooo nurse. This physics engine, called Lagoa Multiphysics 1.0, was created by Thiago Costa and essentially simulates real-life physics in a completely realistic way. This demo shows a piece of charcoal breaking and spreading as it hits the ground. The engine features:

- High friction granular materials
- Incompressible fluids
- Elastic structures
- Plastic deformations & more…

Silky smooth...

Yeah I saw that yesterday, awesome stuff
The dirt in the beginning looks a little weird IMO, more like fluffy flying dirt than actual dirt.

The kind of physics engine ive been waiting for. Please for the mother of god do NOT let Nvidia get their hands on this.
Why not? They would only snap it up, and either destroy it in favour of PhysX, distort it until it becomes the new PhysX and ruin it in the process, or just market it terribly so everyone thinks it's rubbish. Oh right, that's why.

Lol exactly. PhysX was a good start but this looks like it will take the cake, pie, and the woman home for the night. If it requires some sort of new hardware i would actually fork out some cash for it.
