Ok well I'm going to list my hardware if it has any relevance to my problem then describe the problem:

-p6x58d-e asus motherboard
-930 i7 cpu
-6g corsair xms3 ram
-xfx 5870 gpu
-750w corsair tx power supply
-Azza solano1000 case(probly has no relevance, but the HDD led is plugged and doesn't flash)

(figuring the bug is in caused by 1 of these 2 so giving full product desc. from ncix.com)
-Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive OEM
-Samsung SH-S243D/BEBE 24X Black DVD Writer SATA OEM

So I just finished installing and connecting all the hardware, it works, BIOS detects everything, although for some reason HDD is sata3 6gbs and connected in sata3 slot with 6gbs cable marvel controller only displays speed 3gbs(that's not the actual problem though). After exiting BIOS or if I let it run without entering it I get this message.

"Reboot and Select proper boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press any key"

This is WITH a windows 7 x64 DVD that I got from school(I'm in computer science I get windows for free) I have used this disk to install windows 7 on another PC and it worked fine. I set the boot order for the dvd drive first in the BIOS didn't change anything.

Let me know any ideas, tips fixes or if you need additional info
