You should be installing the Operating System to the SSD, so there's really nothing you can "test" out without it. You definitely don't want to OC the system without Windows already installed as you can't perform a stability test. And you definitely don't want to try installing Windows on an unstable system.

I just assembled everything I have so far, will connect the SSD when it arrives. Can you give me some instructions on proper overclocking and testing?
