fire fox with windows 7

i just got my windows 7 installed and now im trying to install fire fox, i download it then i got to install it, it extracts all files then wants a administator to continue, i enter my username and password because i am the administrator then the setup just ends? anyone know how to continue the setup? i am running a 64-bit version of windows 7 if that helps any?

that did not work it would close on me, but me being new to windows 7 found out there is no firefox for windows 7 64-bit at the moment lol

The 32-bit version of firefox would still work on a 64 bit windows platform. Something else is wrong then.

There has never been a 64 Bit version of Firefox. It just hit Beta with version 4. The 32 Bit version works just fine. I know cause i run Win7 64 Bit. As Aaron said above, there is something else wrong with your install.

Yep. I've been running FF on Win7 64-bit since about 50 minutes after I installed the OS.
