A quick thank you to everyone!
My computer that I built with the help of everyone here is still running strong!
Now, a friend of mines home built computer isn't working properly.
I have tested memory, psu, pulled battery out of MB, peripheals (usb, optical drive.)
All do not seem to cause the problem ...
[PROBLEM] Computer Will not boot. Solid red HD light. No computer speaker sound.
I believe it is a faulty mother board.
Current MB = p4m80-m7
Specs = http://www2.dealtime.com/xPF-MB-BIOSTAR-INTEL-P4M80-M7-RET
So I think I have found a replacement .
Potential replacement MB specs... Newegg.com - Open Box: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 LGA 775 VIA PT880 Pro/PT880 Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
Now before I make the go ahead and purchase the Replacement MB I would like some reassurance from the Techforums that I have tested all potential problems and that my current solution is both compaitable and the best next step.

Fans spin, HD spins, Keyboard lights up for a brief second and then turns off on both ps2 and usb keyboards
