Hardware compatibility

Hey, building my first computer here, found these parts on Newegg and was wondering if they were all going to be compatible. I dont know if there is an easy way to tell or not but there is a disclaimer on all purchases that says there not responsible for compatibility issues within bundles so it raised concern.

For the price, the gtx 460 is abunch better. But besides that, it looks okay.

do i have to worry about that cards compatibility? and can you be more specific? i looked it up and there were a bunch. Maybe toss up a link?
Anything you can add will undoubtedly help because i have little to no clue how hardware interface or how to check if there comparable or not.

Also, the memory in that bundle is out of stock, what should i chose instead?

For the price, the gtx 460 is abunch better. But besides that, it looks okay.

I don't know where you got your results from. The GTX 460 and HD5830 trade blows at higher resolutions but they are **** near identical in terms of performance.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 460: The Fermi We Were Waiting For : GeForce GTX 460 At 1 GB And 768 MB

It runs a little cooler, and pulls almost exactly as much power.

It's up to whichever he likes best. Nvidia or ATI.

The 1Gig card is the $220 king card now, and with new drivers, only on 1st set now, it'll get beter.

of course its all compatible, its a bundle from newegg....but if your looking to switch out parts start with the ram, its value ram.....


how much are you wanting to spend on ram? i like these for that setup-

Since its a bundle, just stay with the gpu it comes with, the ati. No reason to switch guys.

but yea, all the parts in that one would be compatible.

Well i mean hes buying a whole complete desktop, and since the gpu is included why buy a different one unless you wanted an upgrade.

i was really just addressing that one part i quoted, because i've seen newegg bundles (not as big as that one, only ones with like 2 parts) where the parts included in the bundle are not compatible, like amd cpu with intel board, ddr2 with ddr3 board, am2 cpu with am3 board.

just making a point that you should always like double check whatever is bundled in like that to make sure it's compatible, even though probably like 95% of newegg's combo deals are compatible, it doesn't hurt to just check real quick.
