P4 2,4Ghz 533MHz or CeleronD 335 2.8Ghz 533

Stil thinking wich one to choose for my Asus P4P800SE 800mhz

between the P4 2,4Ghz 533 and the Celeron 2,8Ghz 533.

Any sugestions wich one to take and a small reason why i could take it. the P4 2,4 cost 10 euro more then the celeronD 2,8 so i wonder what performace i could get with those 10 euro's more.

well, for one the celeron only has 128kb cache whereas the 2.4 has 1mb. the 2.4 @ 533mhz is probably the prescott which does run a little hotter but no big deal if you have sufficiant cooling. Speed isn't everything my friend. the cache makes the processor. the celeron runs at 400mhz.

so go with the 2.4. any further questions google for reviews.

Go the P-IV any day. I have a celeron 2600 for my work PC. It's slow.
