I have a new case with a 450w PSU. AMD Athlon X2 7850 2.8ghz. I have around $300-350 left in the budget. First time build so any help would be much appreciated.

What make and model is the PSU? What are the intended purposes of the computer?

I will check on the PSU, it came with the case. We will use it for school work, web surfing and a little gaming. Maybe The Old Republic when it comes out.
