What are these used for? Could they be integrated into a gaming PC?

I know heavy duty CAD and graphic modeling computers use 10 plus cores. Friend of mine has used a 16 core for 3D CAD drawings we're talking sky scrapers.

Maybe, but games rarely use more than 2 cores.

These 12 cores are mainly servers and huge multitasking machines. If yoiu run alot of vm machines, its perfect.

However Nvidia has those sweet sexy tesla GPGPU units! Those are awesome!
