Anyone know where i can buy a ASUS G60VX new?

I have seen this laptop for 749.99 used at tigerdirect.ca and i think it's a great laptop for the money but i would really like to buy a new one.

I have checked virtually every online pc store i can think of and no luck.

I don't know what to do, man. Try calling up ASUS and ask if they make that model anymore, not refurbished.

That was actually the first thing i did.

They said they couldn't help me and to contact a distributor.

I'm pretty sure this line of asus laptops were only sold at bestbuy.com

I called bestbuy near my home and they said that the asus Gvx series with the dual core and gtx 260m are exclusively sold in the USA.

I'm pretty much looking for a laptop with a top tier graphics card for around a grand.

I was also looking at this one.

It seems this one is also tricky to find in Canada also.

I called tigerdirect.ca and they said due to manufacturing restrictions this is only for sale in the USA.

dunno why everyone is hating on Canada all of a sudden.
