So this is another list of computer parts. So here it goes. And if anyone would post a link to a gaming monitor and a guide to building a gaming desktop.

Apevia Black/Black X-Plorer ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Fan Controller, Front USB and Firewire Port $88

Kingston HyperX 6GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory - Non-ECC, CL9, Unbuffered DIMM, 240-pin $189

Western Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black Hard Drive - 1TB, 7200 RPM, 32MB, SATA-300 $95

Corsair TX650W 650-Watt Power Supply - ATX, 120mm Fan, SLI-Ready, SATA-Ready, 80Plus $90

MSI 785GM-E51 Motherboard & AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Processor w/ Fan Bundle $255

Diamond 5870PE51G ATI Radeon HD5870 Video Card - 1024MB/1GB, GDDR5, PCIe, Dual Link, DVI $419

LG GH22NS50R DVDRW Drive - DVD+R 22X, DVD+RW 8X, DVD-RW 6X, DVD-RAM12X, CD-R 48X, CD-RW 32X, SATA $25

Is this a good build?

good build. one thing though, AMD currently does not support tri channel memory, so it will not be fully utilised. go with dual channel memory and you will be good.

those dominators cost too much IMO.

look at this ram instead.
Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM
runs at the same speed with better cas7 timings and it's $35 cheaper. it could be $45 cheaper if you use the promo code they have listed.
