why is youtube lagging for me?

i have the most recent flash and the rest of the computer runs fast enough but for some reason it has problems playing video. any suggestions would be appreciated.

ok thanks. ill hook it up via ethernet instead of wireless and see if it has a better connection.

1. What browser are you using?
2. What is your internet speed? i.e (56k, 258k, 756k, T1)
3. What OS?

It does not depend on OS or browser. It is internet speed that matters.

I know this first hand. I had 768Kbps until recently. YouTube always laged. Now that I'm on 7Mbps, it is perfect.

Well, I mean if he had some old OS like Windows 2000, would it work? Same if it's some self made browser, or not major browser?

Just correcting you. I'm thinking more that he would have XP and above. As long as you have the latest version of Flash, you can play Flash movies.

Edit: today's most popular browser is FF. Only the more experienced will use otherwise.
